Join Des Moines County Conservation for a captivating Wildflower Walk at Starr’s Cave on April 20th from 1:30-2:30 PM. Spring is the perfect time to witness the woodland trails at Starr’s Cave come alive with blooming spring ephemerals, the first flowers of early spring. Discover a variety of these fleeting beauties, including Hepatica, Spring Beauty, Dutchman’s Breeches, and Bloodroot. Anyone is welcome, and there is no registration required. Participants can leave at any time. Meet at the shelter house next to the nature center for this hour-long program. Our naturalist will lead the walk, providing insights and answering any questions.
