This arboretum has close to 2 acres of over 50 species of trees for everyone to view. This is a joint project between ECCB and Emmet County Soil & Water Conservation District.

The Emmet County Conservation Board is located in northwest Iowa and manages 10 individual parks that include a beach, trails, West Fork Des Moines River boat ramp access, and hunting areas. The Emmet County Conservation Nature Center is located at the Wolden Recreation Area.
