Fee's are $20 for a half day and $40 for a full day to reserve please call the Nature Center at 712-867-4422 and we can email you the rental paperwork.

Cancellation Policy

48 hours notice is appreciated so ECCB doesn't need to prepare the shelter house for your visit.

Refund Policy

Sorry, No Refunds will be given, but we will allow you to exchange the dates if needed as long as they are open.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 07:00 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.

Location Located within the Wolden Recreational Area and Campground just up the hill from the Emmet County Conservation Nature Center.

Shelter House is closed when the park closes for the season in mid October.

The Emmet County Conservation Board is located in northwest Iowa and manages 10 individual parks that include a beach, trails, West Fork Des Moines River boat ramp access, and hunting areas.  The Emmet County Conservation Nature Center is located at the Wolden Recreation Area.
