5K Challenge Run / Walk

Event Summary

The 13th Annual 5K Fun is a true cross country course.  Following the mowed grass trails within the Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve through native Iowa prairie and along the quarry area where Devonian fossils are found.  New this year . . . . 5K Walk!

Registration form
Registration/Check in is from 8:30-9.  At 9:10 participants will load a bus to go to the start.  Race begins at 9:30 and the finish line is at the Fossil & Prairie Park.

Cost:   Before Aug 31st     $12 for Fossil & Prairie Conservation Foundation members and $15 for Non members
            After August 31st    $20

Registration includes: Long sleeve T-shirt, bib number, race packet and door prize entry.  Shirts can only be guaranteed for those that pre-register.

Medals for top three winners in each age division.  Trophies for overall male and female runner.
