Fossil Day Camp

Event Summary

As paleontologists, campers will explore the fossil quarry for ancient sea life.  Each camper will receive a Golden Guide to Fossils and snacks.   Camp contains educational programs taught by the Floyd County Naturalists with activities, games & crafts.

Please wear long pants, closed shoes (no sandals), sunscreen &/or a hat, insect repellent and bring a sack lunch.  Take the Smart Lunch Challenge: Who can bring a lunch with the least amount of waste?
