Spring Wildflower Walk 11:00AM-12:00PM

Event Summary

Join us for a short hike (1/2 mile) on the trails at Mallory park. We will explore an area that was burned during the fall of 2020. This management practice is beneficial for our forests and usually results in many woodland wildflowers blooming during the following spring. We will learn about the life cycle of these unique woodland plants and how to identify them. We will also discuss ways to incorporate these flowers into your home landscaping.

The trails are grass/dirt with one moderate hill. Parking is available in the lower campground area.
