What is Monarch Watch?

Monarch Watch is non-profit organization that focuses on education, conservation, and research of Monarch Butterflies. Each fall, Monarch Watch tagging program relies on a large scale community of volunteers to tag monarch butterflies. The monarchs are then recaptured at the end of their migration and this data provides valuable information about the monarchs population.

Franklin County Conservation will be participating in this years tagging, come join us for a fun and educational program! We will also be making milkweed seed bombs for you to take home and plant to support the Monarch Butterflies.
