College Credit or Professional Development Credit

We are currently able to offer college credit through Iowa Central Community College. If you are interested in this option, please read the info at the end of this letter and call Maureen Seamonds at 515-835-0497. You may also take this class for Iowa Central Community Education credit that will provide you with a certificate documenting your attendance hours at this workshop. There is no additional cost for this option and every attendee will receive a certificate.

Prairie Lakes AEA is evaluating our class for Professional Development credit and we will let you know if that will apply to this class as soon as I know. Each school district has different ways to evaluate and assign these professional development credits so please ask your district curriculum director about your specific case.

*For Iowa Central credit:   You will register for one credit of Special Projects and I will create an individualized syllabus for you. We need to do this ahead of time, so if you are interested ion this option, please call me and we will talk about it. I will need to ask you about your goals for the class so I can create a syllabus that meets your specific needs. The Iowa Central tuition is $151.00 per credit hour. You will pay that directly to Iowa Central.
