Event Summary
CANCELLED DUE TO ICE AND POOR SNOW CONDITIONS
This clinic is for all ages of people who love snow. Come and learn the basics of snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
Attendees will break into two groups:
- Snowshoe clinic will be led by John Laird, Naturalist for Hamilton County Conservation.
- Cross Country ski clinic will be led by Karen Hansen, Naturalist for Webster County Conservation.
There are a limited number of skis and
snowshoes. There is a very limited number of small cross country ski boots. Parents should
assist their children in the clinic. The XC ski clinic is geared towards adults
and teenagers. Children are welcome to try snow shoeing with their parents.
POTLUCK 4:30-5:30 : There will be a soup potluck following the clinic, so please bring something to eat if you plan to stay for the potluck.
Free will donations will be taken for the purchase of additional ski equipment and snowshoes.
