Make a Personalized Walking Stick on Earth Day

Event Summary

If you feel a personalized walking stick makes a walk through the woods a more enjoyable event, then you need to come make your own walking stick with our Hamilton County Naturalist.

Feel free bring a walking stick to personalize or choose from some pre-cut limbs. There is a limited number of pre-cut limbs. Feel free to bring items that you may want to place on your custom walking stick. 

We will decorate the sticks and then use them as we take a short walk in the park. You may walk more on your own if you choose to and pick up trash in the park in appreciation of Earth Day.

Register for the event by calling the office at 515-832-9570 or email our Naturalist, John Laird at hccblaird@wmtel.net so we can have enough supplies on hand.
