Entertainment by Julie Moss
Julie is the office assistant for the Iowa Association of County Conservation Boards (20 years). She has been singing most of my life and started playing the guitar in 1997. She enjoys yodeling and singing old time gospel and country songs, and find that folks love to sing along. She began yodeling at the 2004 Iowa State Fair, received 2nd place that year and has been yodeling ever since. In the past 10 years she has done over 1,000 performances and is a favorite entertainer for young and old. Last summer she entered a contest and won the title of "Newton Idol", and got to open for country singer, Billy Currington at the Iowa Speedway in September. She finished recording a bluegrass/country CD of old time gospel songs in late December 2009 with musician Tim Crouch and will have them available for sale.
