Bates Addition to Daily Long Memorial Park

Discover Bates Addition & Trail in Union

The Bates Addition is the northern section of Daisy Long Campground which features electrical campsites, a playground, and provides access to the Bates Trail. Bates Trail is approximately a mile long and follows the Iowa River north, leading you to David Bates Memorial Park. The mowed trail provides hikers a scenic view of the Iowa River and features benches along its path.
