Hunter Educaiton Field Day

Event Summary

We will be hosting a Hunter's Education Field Day at Calkins Nature Area on Wednesday September 6th at 6 pm. The Field Day will cover safe firearm handling, basic marksmanship, Iowa hunting regulations, hunting ethics, and will include a live fire with .22 caliber rifles. A final exam will be given at the end of the class and students will leave with their certificates upon successful completion. Parents are welcome to stay for the class, but it is not required.
