This 40 acre heavily timbered wildlife was purchased from the Wilkinson family in 1963. In 2005 the 80 acres adjoining to the north was purchased from Bob deNeui and is now called the Bob & Joell deNeui Wilderness and we are in the process of purchasing an acre or two from Bob Message in order to connect the property to 150th Street and create an access. In 2006 the 80 acres adjoining the Wilkinson Wildlife Area to the south was also purchased from Bob deNeui and is now called the Daryl deNeui Memorial Woods. These 80 acres also adjoin the Headquarters area to create a 445 acre complex.
