Lake Iowa Park Campground
Lake Iowa is located just 5 miles south of Interstate 80 Exit 211. Go south 2 miles on H Avenue to the 4-way stop sign, then 1 mile west on 230th St and then 3 miles south on G Ave to the entrance of the park on the left.
This cabin rents for $110.00 a night with a 1 night minimum stay required.
A $50 fee will be charged if the renter fails to clean the cabin before checking out.
Renters are liable for damages to the property or its contents that occurred during their stay and will be billed by Iowa County Conservation.
By your agreement with these terms and conditions, yourepresent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to makethe reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree toassume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the membersof your group while utilizing said facilities.Additionally, you agree that you have read and understandthe CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have alsoread and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.You are reserving a facility in on an Iowa CountyConservation Board property. ALL COUNTYPARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger listed onyour reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules,policies or special requests.Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area asoutlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result inenforcement action. Iowa County Conservation Board may take any legal actionnecessary to recover damages to county property.Iowa CountyConservation Board staff reserve the right to enter the cabin in cases ofmaintenance or security problems.Maximumlength of stay is 14 consecutive days.Maximumnumber of occupants is 8 per cabin.Tents,RV’s, or campers of any kind are NOT allowed at the cabin site.Cooking isprohibited on the cabin deck or picnic table.Cabinfurniture must remain inside at all times. You must make your reservation at least four days before the date of your stay.
CHECK-IN TIME: After 4:00 PM on the day of arrival CHECK-OUTTIME: Before NOON on day of departure
PETS Pets are prohibited in and around cabins.
GETTING INTO A FACILITY Please push in the4-digit code you selected at registration.
CLEAN-UP You are required to clean up thefacility and grounds and return them to the condition the cabin was in prior toyour rental. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior tothe scheduled NOON checkout time.Cleaning of wildlife or fish is prohibited in or around the cabin.
FAILURE TO CLEAN THE CABIN WILL RESULT IN A HOUSEKEEPING FEE OF $50.00.
VISITORS All visitors (other than registeredovernight campers) must depart the park by 10:30 PM.Only the rental party may remain in the cabin after 10:30PM.
SMOKING All Iowa County buildings are asmoke-free environments. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
PARKING Parking is confined to designatedparking areas or in designated parking areas around the park. If you anticipatemore vehicles than spaces provided, please contact the Park Ranger in advance.No parking or driving off roadways.
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS & DECORATIONS Temporary,free standing directional signs are allowed – not to be attached to parkfurniture, signposts or other facilities. Decorations are allowed as long asthey are free standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage a facilityor any painted walls (tape, tacks and staples can cause damage to walls. Theuse of a no-stick adhesive is recommended). Special care should be taken withballoons so that they do not “escape” and possibly injure wildlife.
REFUSE Iowa County Parks observe a “Carry In –Carry Out” refuse policy. All garbage must be deposited in the dumpsters nearthe entrance of the park at the time of departure.
If you need to cancel a reservation, you willforfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid.
All cancellations must be made bycalling the Iowa County Conservation Board Office at (319) 655-8465.
A $25 fee will be charged toreschedule a reservation.
No reservations can be rescheduled within 2 weeks leadingup to the original reservation
These rules are subject to change. Current Iowa County reservation policies apply to all reservations.
All reservations with IowaCounty Conservation Board facilities are final.
Reservations arenon-refundable, unless the following situations occur:
1. The National Weather Service has issued severe weatherand/or travel conditions.
2. We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility)in operable condition for the date of your event.
3. Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate familymember.
All requests for refunds must be made by calling the IowaCounty Conservation Board Office at (319) 655-8465.Noreservations left on the Iowa County Conservation answering machine will behonored.
