The Scout Camp has an small enclosed storage building with attached picnic shelter. The enclosed portion may be used to store gear or for sleeping in inclement weather. Level tent pads and a pit toilet are present on the site and Poweshiek Water is now available. 

The building and rural water access have been made possible through generous donations from local Boy Scouts of America troops.

The scout camp is available for youth groups to reserve free of charge.  Call (319) 655-8465 to request a date.

Location The scout camp is located off of the main road around the lake, just past Shelter 3.
