Summer Adventure Story Walk


Event Summary

Families are invited to the Hurstville Interpretive Center for a Summer Adventure StoryWalk® event on Saturday, August 11. Come read “A Place for Fish,” written by Melissa Stewart and illustrated by Higgins Bond as you walk the prairie trail during this open house event between 1:00-3:00 pm. After reading the story, participants can enjoy games and activities related to the story and all families that attend will receive a free book!            

Event sponsored by the Jackson County Campaign for Grade Level Reading. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Jackson County Conservation at (563) 652-3783. The Hurstville Interpretive Center is located 1 mile north of Maquoketa off Highway 61.
