Mushroom Foray

Event Summary

Join the Prairie States Mushroom Club of Iowa on a walk through the park looking for fungi of all types. After gathering a variety of specimens, all are welcome to gather at a picnic shelter to identify what was found and learn more about Iowa's fungi. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the hike. Be sure to wear long pants and sturdy shoes as your foray may take you off trail. Free event for all ages.
