Plogging at the Caves

Event Summary

Come to the Maquoketa Caves State Park, and meet at the stone shelter, on Saturday October 5th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm for some Plogging! Plogging is a Swedish fitness craze that got its start in 2016. Plogging is a combination of jogging and picking up litter. We are putting our Jackson County Conservation spin on Plogging and making it hiking and picking up litter. Join Naturalist Tony Vorwald as we hike the trails at the park, pick up litter, get some exercise, and help the caves out! Come dressed for the weather and bring a water bottle. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. This is a free event and family friendly
