Replanting After the Derecho with Trees Forever – Virtual Event
MAR 10 2021 7:00 PM
Event Summary
Trees are a permanent feature on the landscape and in our communities. Natural disasters like tornadoes, derechos, floods, severe storms are also a permanent feature of where we live. The winds have passed and the August derecho will go down in history as one of the most destructive events in modern history. One of the most visible effects of the storm is the sheet destruction of trees. We’ll spend some time with Trees Forever field coordinator, Debbie Fluegel, discussing the effects of natural events on trees, hurdles of clean up and options landowners have in planning for their new landscape. To join us for this event, please email Jen@JacksonCCB.com before Friday, March 5th.
