Event Summary

Jackson county has some unique and diverse natural areas. Join Jackson County Conservation Naturalist Tony Vorwald as we discuss the remnant prairies in Jackson County. Remnant prairies are prairie areas that were never developed. These areas give a glimpse into Iowa’s natural history as well as hosting diverse plant species, providing quality wildlife habitat, and are extremely interesting to nature lovers.
