Meet the Ambassador Animals

Hurstville Interpretive Center, Jackson County

Monday, January 20, 2025

Ambassador animals play a very important role at any nature center, zoo, interpretive center, museum etc. They are a spokes animal for their species, and teach about things such as endangered species, habitat loss, pollution, exotic pets, animal trafficking and more.

Get a chance to meet the Hurstville center's ambassadors up close, hear what they have to teach, their roles in the ecosystem and as ambassadors, and their day to day life. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the animals. This event is free and open to the public, all ages are welcome and encouraged!
