Iowans Out West  4th in the series: Guiding in Alaska presented by Pete Cueno Sunday March 4 at 4:00 pm at the Hurstville Interpretive Center

Maquoketa native Pete Cueno has been in Valdez, Alaska for the past 4 years working for Pangea Adventures.  Pete will share with us some exciting stories of leading people on outdoor adventures, from kayaking and backpacking to ice climbing and glacier hiking!  Following the program, participants will enjoy a delicious meal.  The Iowans Out West series was designed to showcase some awesome outdoor adventures of current and former area residents as well as to raise funds for the Hurstville Outdoor Makeover project.  Tickets are $9 per person and includes a full course meal and engaging program.  Buy tickets individually or invite friends and fill a table (6 people per table).  Purchase tickets at least 4 days in advance so food portions can be planned accordingly.  Note: we have been filling the tables at previous programs so get your tickets early!
