A sure sign of spring is hearing the frogs begin to call! And dedicated volunteers are there, listening and collecting data as part of the Iowa DNR’s Frog and Toad Call Survey. Join Naturalist Jeny Meyer in conducting the count in our area.We’ll begin at the Center where you’ll learn all about Iowa’s frogs and practice identifying them by sound and sight. Then hop in our van and go along with Jeny to the designated stops between Maquoketa and Andrew to put your newly learned skills to the test! RSVP online or by phone (563-652-3783) by March 31st.
