Are you looking for a great pastime and reason to get our in the woods? This late winter and early spring why don’t you go white-tailed deer shed hunting? White-tailed deer drop or “shed” their antlers every year in late winter. Join Jackson County Conservation on Saturday February 27 at 10:00 am at the Prairie Creek Recreation pavilion to learn about shed hunting and to try it for yourself! Come dressed for the weather and ready to explore. This is a free and family friendly event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is Required. Wear masks and practice social distancing while participating.
