Snowshoe and Brew

Event Summary

Winter doesn’t mean that we need to sit inside and hide from the cold weather. January is a perfect time to strap on some snowshoes, hit the trails, and sample some fine craft beer. On Saturday January 21 join naturalist Tony Vorwald and Maquoketa Brewing as we enjoy these winter pass times, snowshoeing and beer. We will meet at the Prairie Creek Pavilion, 1215 east Summit St. Maquoketa IA, at 2 pm January 21. Jackson County Conservation will provide snowshoes and a guided hike. Maquoketa Brewing will provide some delicious, local craft beer for sampling at the pavilion around a warm bonfire. If there is no snow we will still go on a guided hike.
