Fall BioBlitz

Event Summary

Our BioBlitz will be an attempt to record as many species of plants, animals and fungi at Prairie Creek Recreation Area over the course of three separate bioblitz events. By holding one in each the spring, summer and fall, we hope to catch all the living species at the park.Scientists, biologists, naturalists and other experts in their field will form teams with participants in finding, identifying and recording information about the species they find.The public is invited to sign up to help. Registration is required in advance to allow for proper planning. Participants can help with 1 or more of the surveys.
