Event Summary

Whether you need to fine tune your skills or would like to try paddling for the first time, this is the program for you! This class, taught by a certified instructor, will help you learn the basics of kayaking and stand up paddleboarding.

We will run two sessions:

Morning- 9:00am-11:30am- Geared more towards youth

Afternoon- 12:00pm-2:30pm

Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 16 participants. This is an official Des Moines River Water Trails event cosponsored by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Jefferson County Conservation. The Des Moines River Water Trail is one of 19 official water trails in Iowa.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All Jefferson County Conservation events have a registration deadline of two weeks prior to the program start date. If you would like to cancel before the two-week window, you will be issued a full refund. Within two weeks of the program, no refunds will be given.
