Event Summary
Winter is a great time to get outside in search of owls as many are claiming territories and calling for mates.Join Naturalist Sydney Algreen and the Iowa City Bird Club to learn about these nocturnal creatures! The evening will feature a short indoor, kid-friendly program about owls followed by a guided hike to search for these nocturnal creatures and wrap up with hot chocolate. Participants should dress for the weather.This is a free program, but registration is required by 4 PM on Mon, Jan 4. Space is limited so register early by contacting 319-645-1011 or salgreen@co.johnson.ia.us.
