Great Backyard Bird Count

Event Summary

Snuggle up with your Valentine and join in a citizen-science based project at Kent Park! With a naturalist guiding you, participants will visit the bird blind to learn about and count the number and species of different birds that visit the feeders. The data will be entered into the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) database, a national program that provides a snapshot of where birds are this winter.Hot chocolate will be provided after the count at the CEC.
