Event Summary

Invite a kid, your best friend, or a spouse to go fishing on Iowa's Free Fishing Weekend! Johnson County Conservation will be hosting a free fishing event Saturday June 07, 2025 from 7:00AM-11:00AM at the Anglers' Parking Lot. Anyone and everyone is welcome! Fishing poles, tackle, and bait will be provided to use. Staff will be available to assist those newer to fishing. No registration required, just show up!

Iowa's free fishing weekend is on June 6,7, and 8. Iowa residents may fish without a license or trout fee; all other regulations remain in place.
