Iowa River Float

Join the North Liberty Recreation Center and JCC for a kayaking & canoeing trip down the Iowa River. Participants will meet at Sturgis Ferry landing in Iowa City at 8:30 am. After a 3 hr float, we will finish at Hills landing 9 miles downriver. This float is open to people of all ages and skill levels. Upon registration please specify if you would like a single kayak, a tandem canoe, or if you will be bringing your own watercraft. Rental boats are limited so sign up early. Participants are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks (non-alcohol). A van will take participants from Hills back to the start at Sturgis Ferry.
