Forts and Fires Family Day!

Event Summary

For many, building forts in the woods was a childhood rite of passage. This program is meant to give today's youth that opportunity in a family-oriented program. Along with building woodland forts, participants will build a fire from scratch using flint and steel, with the goal to boil water. 

This goal of this program is to facilitate outdoor connection through an engaging activity. It will not focus on advanced 'survival' tricks and tips.
