Prairie Seed Harvest

Event Summary

Are you in love with the prairies? If so, spend a morning with fellow volunteers and JCC staff collecting seeds of native prairie plants in Kent Park. All collected seed will be planted to new JCC prairie restorations in the future. The JCC Natural Resource team will provide an introduction and instruction before sending volunteers into the prairie for independent collection. This activity is appropriate for families and children as young as preschool age.
