Fall Migration Bird Banding Event

Event Summary

Join federally certified bird banders and dedicated volunteers for a chance to see birds up close and learn about how we collect scientific data on birds to help us learn more about bird populations. You’ll also learn about fall migration, bird adaptations, and how to identify various bird species. This is an open house style event so feel free to come and go as you please. Bird banding is weather dependent so keep an eye on our Facebook page in the event of weather related cancellations or delays.
