Raptor Meet-n-Greet with Raptology

Event Summary

Come meet and learn about two different birds of prey with Raptology. This program will take place outside in the Whip-poor-will Shelter area, just north and across the road from the Conservation Education Center entry. This outdoor program is an informal "meet-n-greet" style, and no registration is required.

No dogs are permitted in the area during the time of the program.

In the case of inclement weather, the program will be moved into the CEC, and visitors may have to take turns with entry depending on attendance numbers.

Registration closes 24 hours in advance. If you are fully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from MyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from the leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you do not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call 319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.

JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. We welcome and encourage people with disabilities to attend programs and events. Accommodations for persons with disabilities may be requested by contacting naturalist staff at 319-645-1011 or jccnaturalists@gmail.com.
