Event Summary

Enjoy a day of paddling along the Maquoketa River from Canton to Royertown.  Learn about the area's archaeology.  Guides include County Conservation Naturalists and Iowa DOT Archaeologist.  Canoes and kayaks available or bring your own.  RSVP required.  No cost.  This event is part of the Dubuque, Jackson and Jones County OWL (Older, Wiser, Livelier) series.  OWL events are geared for the older, wiser and livelier adults that want to learn more about their environment.
