Central Park Nature Center Open House and Winter Fun Day

Event Summary

Winter Fun Day from Noon - 4pm.  Come to Central Park - try snowshoeing and ice fishing.  Make a pinecone birdfeeder, enter a fun coloring contest and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.  Come and go as your schedule allows!  (At 10 am a special Beginning Ice Fishing Program will be presented for registered participants.)

Register for the Beginning Ice Fishing Program that is from 10am - Noon in the Nature Center Lower Level.  Learn from the experts about ice fishing equipment, safety and tips to catching fish! Participants attending the workshop need to register.  Limited space for this program.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  (16 yrs old and up planning to fish need a valid Iowa fishing license.) There will be equipment to use and bait available for participants.  (All individuals attending the Ice Fishing Program must register to reserve a space to attend)
