Jones County Youth Conservation Crew

Event Summary

Participants should be 12-18 years old

Thursday mornings in June (June 5, June 12, June 19 & June 26)

9am - Noon

Each day participants will join in leadership activities, educational conservation and ecology opportunities and hands on service learning.

Participants will be engaged in important conservation and park projects while working as a team, gaining self-esteem, and learning social responsibility for the environment

Projects may include invasive species removal, trail maintenance and brush clearing, bird house monitoring and maintenance, park clean-up, species surveying and monitoring, assisting with the creation of short informational videos, and native plantings and demonstration garden care.

Register online - only once and participants will be signed up for the days listed.  (Flexibility to attend as many as time allows)
