Site #10 is a gravel pad approximately 57' x 15' with a 15' grass yard. It is the lakeside site at the bottom of the hill in the west tree line. There is a 50/30/20 amp electrical pedestal. Water can be obtained through a hydrant located near the open shelter.
Burt Lake is located 0.2 miles North of County Road A16 (500th St) at the intersection of 40th Ave in the Northern part of Kossuth County and borders the state of Minnesota. It is 11 miles north of Swea City, IA.

This site is located down the hill toward the lake access in the west tree line.
The nightly camping rate for walk-in sites is $15 to be paid at the time of arrival.
If you pay by card, the nightly rate is $15.60. The extra 60 cents is a 4% convenience fee to help cover our credit card processing fees.
You will still need to fill out an envelope at the registration kiosk and drop it in the payment pedestal, just as you would if paying by cash or check. Please indicate that you have paid online on the envelope.
Be sure to tag your site upon payment with the filled out top portion of your registration envelope.
REFUND POLICY
Consider this policy prior to using the Instant Pay feature. The fee charged for two nights of camping is NONREFUNDABLE. All other Instant Pay fees may be refunded if: a reasonable and acceptable explanation is given for an earlier than expected departure (processing fees will not be refunded). If a facility reservation is cancelled by Kossuth County Conservation Board due to a natural disaster or if by some means the facility is unusable a FULL refund (including processing fees) will be refunded.Refunds will be mailed in the form of a check from the Kossuth County Conservation Board along with a letter of explanation and confirmation of cancellation of the refund. Refund checks will be mailed out on a monthly basis.
