Skunk'n to the Mississip' Canoe Float

Event Summary

The trip will last approximately three hours. Attendees will meet at Green Bay Access take-out point and will be shuttled to the Skunk River Access to begin the float.

 A canoe handling and safety demonstration will be provided before the float.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Lee County Conservation Center at (319) 463-7673. Canoe rental is $15, with a maximum of three persons per canoe. Must be 12 years of age to attend and those under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Individuals with their own equipment are welcome to join the group. There is no fee for those bringing their own equipment, but individuals are encouraged to pre-register.
