Trumpeter Marsh is home to a pair of Trumpeter Swans. Through a partnership between the Iowa DNR and Lee County Conservation's Wildlife Management Team, this site is closely monitored to protect the swans and their habitat. This site offers a shelter house and a viewing platform overlooking the lake, providing opportunities to observe the swans and other wildlife up close. Funded by Lee County Pheasants Forever, Trumpeter Marsh highlights the importance of conservation efforts in Lee County.
