Rental Contract Agreement

Rental Agreement
1. Maximum occupancy for each cabin is 8 people.

2. Renters must provide their own bedding, pillows, towels, toiletry items.

3. Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

4. Keys are located in the key box to the right of the front door. The code on the box is the last four digits of your cell phone number. Keys should be placed back into the box when exiting the cabin. A $50.00 fee for lock replacement will be charged if a key is lost. It is best to leave the key in the key box at all times to avoid misplacing or losing the key.

5. Smoking is prohibited in all cabins.

6. There is a two-day minimum stay.

7. There is a three-day minimum for all major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Sweet Corn Festival, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

8. All renters are responsible for cleaning the cabin prior to checkout including floors, shower, toilet, vanity, counter tops, tables, chairs, refrigerator, sink, stove, and microwave. Trash should be removed and placed in trash can outside near the cabin. Furniture and beds should be returned to their original location.

9. The Lee County Conservation Board is not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged.

10. The Lee County Conservation Board has adopted a “Burn Where You Buy” policy. Do not bring firewood into Lee County Conservation’s parks. Firewood may be purchased from the Camp Host or Park Ranger for $5.00 per bundle.

11. Do not burn trash in fire rings.

12. All interior cabin furniture must remain inside the cabin.

13. Creating or sustaining any unreasonable noise in any portion of the cabin area or campground is prohibited.

14. Remove all personal items and food from the cabin at the end of your stay.

15. Pets are prohibited in cabins.

16. All visitors must leave by 10:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand at the time of booking you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing a cabin.

All reservations with the Lee County Conservation Board facilities are final. If a cancelation is necessary, renters will be responsible for the cost of a one-night stay.

All cancelations or requests to reschedule cannot be completed online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office (319) 463-7673. The person named on the reservation may cancel or reschedule a facility reservation. 

Refund Policy

All reservations with the Lee County Conservation Board facilities are final. If a cancellation is necessary, renters will be responsible for the cost of a one-night stay. Renters may reschedule up to 14 days prior to the check-in date free of charge. If a renter reschedules after 14 days prior to the check-in date, they will subjected to the regular cancelation policy (will be responsible for the cost of a one-night stay).

If a facility reservation is cancelled by the Lee County Conservation due to a natural disaster or if the facility is unusable, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original reservation.
