Monarch Butterfly Tagging Program

Event Summary

 Join the Lee County Conservation Board to learn about monarch butterflies and their migration to Mexico.  Borrow an insect net to try and catch a monarch and tag it with a special sticker and record monarch data.  There is a limited number of nets available.  Please meet near the large prairie area near the campground at Wilson Lake.  The cost for this event is $2 per person.  Call Lee County Conservation for more details at 319-463-7673.
