Grand Bell Ringing Ceremony

Event Summary

Join us as we commemorate the return of the original school bell to Abbe Creek School.  The bell has been owned privately by the Jim and Mary Gunn family since the 1970’s. Come celebrate with us as we welcome the bell back to the school and show off the recent repairs to the school.  This is also the first day of our open houses for the summer which run from 1-5 every Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day at this one room school house, which was the first of its kind in Linn County.
