Freedom Bike Ride

The Freedom Bike Ride will be back again this year and this fundraiser bicycle event will take place on Sunday June 24, 2018! From training wheels to triathlon competitors, all are welcome at the 3rd annual Red, Ride, and Blues Freedom Bike Ride! This new and improved ride will include two different routes, 28 miles and 58 miles, that will pass though Marion, Cedar Rapids, Center Point, and Hiawatha. Registration Information: Registration fee: $40 - includes meal after the ride and button, which must be worn during the ride. Same day registration begins at 10:30am at Lowe Park.
Route Information:
Starting location: Lowe Park in Marion. Choose from 28 mile or 58 mile route
Start Times: 58 mile - 12pm 28 miles - 12:30pm
Rest stops with restrooms and snacks along the route. Designated stops at the following locations: Papa Juans, Sag Wagon in Center Point and downtown, Parlor City Ice Cream, Kickstand, Great American Popcorn, and Lucky Penny. Schedule of Events :Meal served from 3:30pm - 5:30pm Enjoy entertainment from Boot Jack Duo from 3:30pm - 7:30pm Giveaway announcement at 6:00pm
Scavenger Hunt during the ride, with a "pre" scavenger hunt during the month of May (*more information will be included with you registration email confirmation)
Bike Decorating Contest: Decorate your bicycle in red, white, and blue to show your patriotic pride! Have red, white and blue clothing?? Wear it all! Prizes will go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The contest will begin immediately after the prizes are awarded for the scavenger hunt at 6pm.
