Wonders of the Wetlands Walk

Event Summary

Join Natural Resources Manager Dana Kellogg as he guides you into the recently constructed Matsell Bridge wetland. If you are thinking about building a wetland, want a nice, interesting hike, or are looking to spot an elusive creature then this is your program! Dana will discuss everything from construction to what types of wildlife have moved into the area. This two mile walk on mowed trails is a great opportunity for birders to try a new area. Be sure to bring your camera along as you may see some of Iowa’s threatened and endangered wildlife roaming about. Meet in the Anderson lot at 4006 Finn Rd.  Follow the signs.  No charge for this program.
