The new Morgan Creek Shelter is a seasonal open-air facility available for family events, group outings, corporate social gatherings, and so much more.
The Morgan Creek Park shelter is located just north of E Ave NW in the new park development area.
(The older shelter in the northern park area is no longer available for reservations, as it is now part of the group camp).
Location
The new shelter is located inside the new park entrance at 7212 E Ave NW, about a 1/2 mile from the entrance.

- 20 picnic tables under shelter

- (4) 8-ft., (2) 8-ft. w/one ADA accessible end on each
- (2) 17-ft.serving counters with 4 electrical outlets (8 receptacles) at each
- 3 large charcoal grills
- Rock pad with electricity and lighting for a larger mobile cooker
- Recreational fire pit (no grill)
- Firewood available for a fee
- Parking lot with over 120 vehicle capacity
- 15,000 sq. ft Playground

- (Garbage cans are not in any other park areas, including around the adjacent playground. Linn County Conservation has a carry-in, carry-out policy, meaning whatever you bring into the park, take back with you)

Facility may be not be available in season on occasion due to extreme weather conditions, maintenance, or other circumstances.
