Event Summary

Many species of birds call Iowa home, study what makes good bird habitat and invite nature to live a little closer to home by building a birdhouse. Participants will learn handicraft skills and how to use basic tools. Learn the basics of bird watching and identification on a hike across the different habitats Wickiup has to offer. Pre-registration required. For ages 9-12. Cost: $10 per child.
