Youth Exploration in Nature Journaling - Registration has ended

Event Summary

Nature lovers, artists, scientists, poets and incessantly curious folks will immerse themselves into various facets of nature journaling.  We are holding several unique opportunities to experience nature in a new way. Our courses will be separate for adults and youth but will cover some techniques and approaches to journaling in the great outdoors. A very skilled set of instructors will lead these courses and help to start you down a path towards documenting your moments outdoors through sketching, writing and landscapes. 

This session is designed to boost your youth’s interest in writing and sketching, further encouraging the exploration of the world of Wickiup with some ways to boost their creativity.  Using the awesome materials supplied, each student will be able to begin the journals here, and then will take them home to continue on their own unique journaling journey.  Lynne Majetic, Chuck Ungs, and Ted Doscher will lead the class. Ages 6 to 15.  Cost: $50/person.
